Same street at the turn of the century. This was painted for the Centenial in 1990. The people and places are real. It's a very good mural on an old theater building. We square danced right across the street from here, about where I am standing to take the picture just last Sat. night. One of the locals told me the whole story. A woman contracted to paint the picture. She drew everything out and the local slapped on most of the paint. She did all the touch up and finish work. Her total cost was $250. I'd say the city got a good deal.
